Mr. Nye has been in practice for 20 years. He graduated from law school in 1980 and then clerked a year for the Maine Superior Court. He is co-chair of the Maine State Bar Association Law Practice Management Committee and a Microsoft Certified Professional. He frequently consults with attorneys, law firms and their clients on software, hardware and networking issues. He has written extensively on technology issues and has given seminars to attorneys and paralegals on a variety of technology topics. He is available for consultations and speaking engagements as a keynote speaker, trainer, workshop leader or seminar instructor.
He is the Past President (1984-1985) of the Portland Jaycees and is a current member and Past President (1996-1997) of the Portland Rotary Club. He is a member of the Cumberland County Bar Association, the Maine State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Maine Trial Lawyer's Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
